Take the cable car to the summit of Table Mountain for sweeping views over the city and ocean, wander through the colorful streets of Bo-Kaap, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the V&A Waterfront. Just an hour from Cape Town, the Cape Winelands offer one of the world’s most seductive combinations of landscape, culture, and gastronomy. Rolling vine-covered hills frame centuries-old Cape Dutch homesteads in the storied valleys of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Paarl — each with its own distinct character and culinary identity. World-class wines are poured against backdrops of mountain grandeur, while Michelin-calibre restaurants and intimate cellar experiences reward the curious and the discerning in equal measure. This is a region that rewards slow travel — where a single valley can fill an entire day with discovery, and where the warmth of its people is as memorable as the wines they produce.ntic.
